Parade of Awesomeness

The TED Talks is an annual series of lectures dedicated to spreading new and interesting ideas. One of the lectures from 2008, the one shown above, is from neuroscientist Jill Bolte Taylor, describing her experience of having a stroke from her perspective as a scientist.

Almost every lecture that I’ve seen from the series has been fascinating, often moving. The videos are usually about twenty minutes long, sometimes less, and they’re always worth the time invested in watching them.
